Good vs Evil

  • Are there clearly defined roles?
No one is purely evil or purely good. The roles of good and evil are never clearly defined and never can be. Who is to decide what good is and how much evil a good person is allowed to do before they are labeled as bad ?

A good person can be motivated to do something bad, so what dose that make them ? Neither bad nor good because the line between the two is blurred. I don't think the roles between good and evil can be clearly defined without knowing the background of someone who is good or evil. In the movie The Dark Knight, Batman was seen as an evil character when his intentions were pure. Some people are seen as evil regardless of their intentions.

If the background of the person or situation were taken into consideration, it would be easy to see that good and evil are not clearly defined. In face it is the opposite. It is hard to define the line that separates the two.

  1. I like it when you say "no one is purely evil or purely good". I mean no one is perfect in the world, some "good" person might do something evilly, but "evil" person might do right things.
    Good Job!~
