Media Violence: Formal Tone 2

There is a very clear distinction between this essay and the previous one. Though both essays were about the same topic, the previous essay did not use rhetorical devices or state a clear thesis. This essay gives many valid points that are followed by proof and written to be persuasive. The previous essay was formal yet did not low well and was not very organized. This essay, though written in informal tone, was completely the opposite. The essay was in informal tone because it used contractions and referred to the audience however it turned out to be more effective than the one written in formal tone.

This author uses many rhetorical devices to enhance his work and uses the very well. The essay consisted of rhetorical devices such as rhetorical climaxes, rhetorical questions, analogies and plenty of definitions. This was an overall well written essay and a great example of an editorial.
